QUALIFYING CRITERIA

Check if you qualify to nominate an initiative or project –

If you are a business associate or client of the Halls Group:

1. Lula Sandla looks to support initiatives in the following categories:
a. Education;
b. Vulnerable adults and children;
c. Community health initiatives;
d. Supporting vulnerable animal projects;
e. Positive environmental impact;

2. You need to be an individual (customer or policyholder) or business associate of a company within the greater HL Hall & Sons Holdings (Pty) Ltd group.

3. Nominating individuals and/or entities must be :
a. Actively involved in the initiative (i.e. you volunteer your time and / or skills)
b. Where it is an entity making the nomination, it includes the employees of that entity being actively involved and giving of personal time to assist the initiative;
c. Leveraging your skills or the skills of the relevant nominating entity’s employees to assist in the initiative in anyway;
d. Recruiting a volunteer/s for the beneficiary

4. Your project/initiative has not received a Lula Sandla award in the last 6 months.

5. Your project/initiative is a registered NPO/NGO/BPO.

If you are an employee or a shareholder of the Halls Group:

2. You need to be a permanent employee or a shareholder of a company within the greater HL Hall & Sons Holdings (Pty) Ltd group.

3. Nominating employees must be :
a. Actively involved in the initiative (i.e. you volunteer your time and / or skills)
b. Leveraging your skills to assist in the initiative in anyway;
c. Recruiting a volunteer/s for the beneficiary

4. Your project/initiative has not received a Lula Sandla award in the last 6 months.

5. Initiatives that form part of the formal CSI Program of any of the Halls Group companies may not be nominated as they already benefit from contributions from the Halls Group. (Unless the individual is volunteering their time)
